In 1998, we made our first vintage to be shared with friends and family. Our winemaker Dan began his training working under acclaimed winemaker John Abbott at Canoe Ridge. Our first custom crush was produced fall of 2002 with spectacular results. Our vineyard produces high-quality fruit that, when combined with Dan's skill and care in winemaking, create balanced, elegant, wines full of the varietal characteristics and Walla Walla Valley terrior Morrison Lane is becoming known for.

Winemaker Dan Morrison

Dan is the youngest son of Dean and Verdie Morrison.

As the winemaker, as with most things he does, he becomes deeply involved.

He is not only a skilled winemaker, he is a gifted potter and talented guitar player. Dan has a quiet demeanor and hardworking style which are reflected in the high quality wines he produces.
